Famine and catastrophe long hampered Phyrangia's people, as did the religiously motivated aggression from the [[Andorian Empire]]. Some of Phyrangia's people began worshipping Palmithra's gods to gain peace, while a sizeable portion retained their old beliefs. Finally, this culminated in the division of the [[Dorenti]] kingdom into Camlen and Neumenia around 230 PR after the death of the last Phyrangian king, leaving the realm to be partitioned into two new realms for his feuding sons. Neumenia remained strongly adherent to the old ''Dorenti Faith'', while Camlen adhered to the ''New Gods'' of the [[Andorian Empire]].<br />

In 480 PR, Neumenia lost territory during renewed conflict with Palmithra.<br />

The [[Kingdom of Sithras]] conquered Neumenia in 903 PR after defeating the Neumeni king, Varsygx.<br />
