Khazgorian Wastes

The Khazgorian Wastes are a vast wasteland that dominates southeastern Athelonesia.

Description

The region, roughly shaped like an outstretched clawed hand consists primarily of hilly, rocky and barren terrain. There is very little precipitation and the wastes are mostly desert. The landscape is sparsely dotted with the ruins of the lost civilization that once thrived here.

History

The Khazgorian Wastes were home to various advanced civilizations. This changed after the Starfall Ruin, which wiped out the only bastion of civilization in the region. The survivors would become the Ankaidou, a group of tribal raiders skilled at survial within the wastes.
