The Four Epochs

The Four Epochs were a period when the primordials controlled the universe. Much of this era saw the primordials warring in an alien and inhospitable world. The Four Epochs consist of four eras: the Epoch of the Skyborn, the Epoch of the Flameborn, the Epoch of the Waterborn, and the Epoch of the Earthborn. The Four Epochs are believed to have ended ten millennia ago and lasted for an unknown period.

Age of Union

The chaotic period of The Four Epochs ends with Elegrim's defeat of the last primordial, referred to as "The Fell Storm." Her defeat brought about the coalescence, which brought into birth the material plane as we know it, albeit vaguely. The known gods arose and imprisoned the remainder of the primordials during this time. The founders, the dragons, and the empyreans also occur.

Timeline

Athelonesian cultures use two calendars.
