Kingdom of Neumenia
More actions
The Kingdom of Neumenia was one of the two successor states formed from the religious and cultural division of the Kingdom of Phyrangia. The other was the Kingdom of Camlen.
History
Religious division and the death of Phyrangia's last king created the Neumenian kingdom. Some segments of the Phyrangian population began worshipping Arghris the Flamebearer, the Andorian chief god. The majority, however, retained their old beliefs.
The Kingdom of Phyrangia disappeared in 230 PR, creating the kingdoms of Camlen and Neumenia with the death of the last Phyrangian king. To maintain peace, the realm was partitioned for his feuding twin sons. Neumenia adopted the Andorian chief god Arghris, while Camlen remained the Old Faith.
In 480 PR, Neumenia lost territory during renewed territorial conflict with the Andorian Empire, which led to the kingdom's slow decline.
The Kingdom of Sithras ultimately conquered Neumenia in 903 PR after defeating King Varsygx.
