The Drowned Nations refers to the region north of the Kingdom of Sithras.
The Drowned Nations have two subregions, the Great Marsh of Delcimbre and the White Coastal Plain.
The Sarbech River feeds into this vast marsh, consisting of numerous tributaries that snake through the White Coastal Plain to the Ioneisean Sea.
The Drowned Nations extend from Waymoot's northernmost border to the foreboding White Coast. The eastern border is the Khalkist Mountains, the northern extent of the Sorval Mountain Range.
Two powerful empires, the Ioneisean and Andorian empires, began in the northern and southern parts of this region, respectively, giving the area its name.

Bodies of Water
- Great Marsh of Delcimbre: The Great Marsh of Delimbre is an unnatural phenomenon in northwestern Athelonesia created as a lingering curse for the empyrean civilization. Before the arrival of the Dorenti, the lizardfolk claimed the marshes, but desperate groups of Dorenti refugees would beat them back. Once the marshes claimed the town Delcimbre, the lizardfolk regained their supremacy and have jealously guarded it ever since. An old female dragon called "Beryl" resides within the swamp. Beryl beguiles foolish travelers for her amusement before utterly devouring them once she's grown bored. The lizardfolk generally worship her as a minor goddess, leaving her to her devices, but she is known to sometimes prey upon them. They are keenly aware of this and are known to sacrifice travelers to divert her attention.
Mountains
- Khalkist Mountains: The Khalkist Mountains snake along northern Athelonesia. The capital of the Fellsworn League, Citadel Fellstone, is deep below.
Ruins
- Delcimbre: Once a prosperous town founded by ancestors of Nymorra's House Wynne, Delcimbre has since fallen to the swamp and overrun by the lizardfolk.
