Kingdom of Neumenia
More actions
The Kingdom of Neumenia was one of the two successor states formed from the religious and cultural division of the Kingdom of Phyrangia. The other was the Kingdom of Camlen.
History
Famine and catastrophe long hampered Phyrangia's people, as did the religiously motivated aggression from the Andorian Empire. In response to this adversity, a segment of Phyrangia's people began worshipping Arghris the Flamebearer, the Andorian chief god, while the majority retained their old beliefs.
The religious division culminated in the division of the kingdom into the kingdoms of Camlen and Neumenia around 230 PR after the death of the last Phyrangian king. To maintain peace the realm was partitioned into two new realms for his feuding twin sons. Neumenia adopted the Andorian chief god Arghris, while Camlen remained with the Old Faith.
In 480 PR, Neumenia lost territory during renewed territorial conflict with the Andorian Empire.
The Kingdom of Sithras conquered Neumenia in 903 PR after defeating the Neumeni king, Varsygx.
